Friday was Jonnie and Ryan's wedding day at Vizcaya Pavilion. This was a small, intimate affair with just below 70 guests. To accommodate the bride's desire for a three tier cake we made each of the tiers smaller. 6", 8" and 10". My picture is sadly lacking in the color department... the ribbon was a pretty shade of lavender and the swiss dots were painted metallic silver.
To the best of my knowledge this was the final decoration...very clean, no flowers or topper, but I'm hoping to get a better picture from their photographer.
Each tier of this cake was filled with a different flavor, but the entire cake was vanilla bean butter cake. The bottom tier was vanilla bean buttercream with fresh raspberries, the middle was chocolate buttercream with strawberries and the top layer was just chocolate buttercream.
